Spelling - Test Tomorrow
Reading - Ask your child about the fun activity they did with their vocabulary today! They will be bringing their words home tonight. We will test on them September 25, that’s NEXT WEEK not this week.
MO History - We will be working on a cross-curricular assignment and watching a film about Missouri’s resources.
Math- Reminder that the Parent Math Education Night is tonight at 6 pm in room 26. Multiplication math fact quiz tomorrow.
We continued working on multiplication comparison problems with an unknown variable. Lesson 2.2 wb pg 25-26. Students were given step by step instructions on how to solve these types of problems using the same strategies we used in class.
Steps for multiplication comparison problems
“N” problems
1. What are you comparing?
2. Who gets the “n’s”?
3. What is the total?
4. Write an equation by counting the “n’s”.
5. Solve the equation for n.
6. Replace n’s with the answer.
7. Read the model/chart to answer the question.
